  Grant and mama went to the Oysterfest parade and loaded up on candy. We saw lots of fire trucks and police cars. The next parade we go to, Grant will have ear protection-he did not appreciate the sound effects at all. After an hour (yes the parade was over an hour!!!) he was ready to go home.
  Later that afternoon the three of us went to the midway and festival. He enjoyed the rides and even rode the "Dragon Rollercoaster" all by himself on Sunday. He had the look just short of terror, but didn't cry. He still wanted to ride the (adult) rocket ride that spins around, going upside down.
