  We had a wonderful Christmas in Austin and drove home through snow! It was a white Christmas in South Texas!!! And said his first "Bye Bye."

  Lookin' good at his one-year check-up. Although his chronic cough may be due to asthma-he is to take meds through a nebulizer and oral steroids for five days, after which we'll be heading back to the doctor for another look.

  We had cake and ice cream to celebrate Grant's turning one. The theme: a duck cake, lonestar tableware, and Groucho Marx headgear. Mom thought of the cake, while Dad was responsible for party gear. It was unique and it was fun...many thanks to all who showered Grant with love.

  Grant is getting the hang of walking. He can even toddle around a bit by himself. He started daycare on Monday and says it's for the birds. But they give him big boy food (he loves that!) and we are trying to ease him over to cow's milk.
  Dad, did you ever get a hold of "stay little" pills???
